A few months ago, we shared an image from ETS 2 on our Twitter account. This was a photo taken with update 6.0 of the Realistic Graphics Mod that we’ve been working on for several months.
However, as you know, SCS Software has announced the upcoming 1.40 update and new lighting system for ETS 2 and ATS in the past weeks. (https://blog.scssoft.com/2020/11/the-good-news-and-mixed-news.html)
The new graphical improvements that will come with update 1.40 excited us like all users. The new lighting and new skies in the published images look truly stunning and realistic. We are very happy to see that SCS Software cares about realism in in-game graphics.
But it is quite possible that the Realistic Graphics Mod will not work after this update. Therefore, we had to suspend the new update of Realistic Graphics Mod until the release of the 1.40 update. We will take a look at what we can do after the release of version 1.40.
Who knows, maybe you will no longer need to use our mod after the update or, this update will provide us the opportunity to make the game much more realistic with our mod. We’ll be looking forward to the 1.40 update.
